Hyatt Ziva Rose Hall (Adults Only), Montego Bay

Staying at this Hyatt was a bit of a mixed bag for me. On the bright side, our oceanfront room gave us a breathtaking view of the pools and the ocean, and the beds were super comfy. However, the rooms themselves fell short of the Hyatt standard.

My stay at the hotel was an absolute delight. The rooms were large, clean, and had a big balcony with amazing views of the property and the beach. However, the bathroom door swinging out into the hallway made it a bit inconvenient to close. The service was professional and attentive, though slightly scarce when it came to operating the showers. The location was perfect, accessible despite needing to take a slightly longer route sometimes. The dining experience offered exceptional local and international options, with only the food temperature being a minor downside. The facilities were top-notch, providing everything needed for a comfortable stay.

The hotel has a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, especially the bed, were clean and very comfortable, located in the historic building that used to be the Ritz Carlton. The traditional decor might not be to everyone's taste, though. The service was attentive and friendly, with staff going above and beyond to meet our needs.
